24 Math Contest

Congratulations to all of the 24 contestant, you did an amazing job! In the 5th grade contest Emma Worsham placed 5th, Coy Crites 4th, Chase Barry 3rd, Avani Sahoo 2nd, and Aaron Ruhland 1st. In the countdown round between 5th and 6th grade Avani Sahoo placed 3rd. In the 7th grade Jacie Cotter placed 5th and Madison Rost placed 1st. In 8th grade Brenda Pham place 5th. In the countdown round between 7th and 8th grade Madison Rost placed 3rd. Once again congratulations to all the contestants and a big thank you to the students and parents that volunteered their time to help make the contest a success. Thank you! Pilgrim Project

Students presented journals and used a "Passport" to visit each Colonial Explore station. The stations are clothing, food, games and music.

 

clothing: where they discover that MANY layers colonists had to wear

 

food: where they eat "Indian Pudding" and realize what foods they had to eat

 

games: where the students learn to play Nine Men's Morris

 

music: where they discover what instruments were used, what music was used for and where the instruments came from

6th Grade Pyramids

School Concert

The annual Rural school & High School Concert recently performed. Approximately 400 musicians from all 5 rural schools, OCA, and WP Schools sang for us. Each school sang individually.
