About Science Club:

Science club is an academic excellence organization with a grade requirement of B+ in Science at the end of first quarter. We don’t meet on a regular weekly basis since there are so many other obligations for students after school with other clubs and sports.

We do a few large events during the year, the biggest being the annual blood drive.  We did our first blood drive in the spring of 1999. We do a couple of fundraisers during the year (the gourmet suckers and butter braids) and those funds pay for lab supplies and activities throughout the year.  Meetings when needed are usually held during lunch recesses.  We will go to St Louis in the spring to either the St Louis Science Center or to the St Louis Zoo.
